🇭🇰 The Importance of Normalizing Your Audio (Aka. Volume) - Swire Ho

One of the biggest misconceptions of editing is directly cutting and adding effects before even normalizing the audio tracks, says Swire.

Swire Ho is the host and editor of “The Small Business Show”, as he runs a company called “Garuda Promo and Branding Solutions''. Originally from Hong Kong based in L.A, he started this podcast to interview experts and help other business owners in their entrepreneurial journey.

Swire uses Adobe Audition for editing his 30 to 45-minute long episodes, often including 1 guest in a traditional conversation with the host. Editing takes him around 1h30 minutes, as he states he doesn’t want to be like other editors who might take 10 hours on 1 episode!

One of the biggest misconceptions of editing is directly cutting and adding effects before even normalizing the audio tracks.
